Planter Update

Mrs. Irving has been out a walk with her family and left a message for everyone:

“How wonderful the children’s planter looked last night on our daily walk. The bright, vibrant colours of the flowers brought a smile to our faces. Well done everyone!”

That’s great news Mrs. Irving, thank you for keeping an eye on our planter. I wonder if anyone else has been to have a look at it with their families? Please let us know if you have and what your family thought about it.

Great Work

Mrs. Maxwell has left a message to say that she thinks the photos of Peep activities at home are “great work!”.

She has also been listening to the “Baby Shark” song to encourage handwashing and staying healthy: “Love this idea Mrs Carruthers. I am now going to be singing this all day though “.

It is a very catchy song, so apologies to our families if you get a little fed up of hearing it once the children learn it, but it is spreading a good message. Keep singing and washing hands everyone to stay safe!

Precious Time

It was lovely to hear from Tilly’s family:

“Absolutely love your last 2 comments (on “Learning is Fun” post below), couldn’t have put it better myself! It certainly is precious time and we are going to use it wisely. Stay safe Mrs Carruthers x”

We really appreciate you getting in touch and hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. We would love to hear from more of our families about what they have been doing as we miss them all.

Pampering

Tilly’s family has been looking at the photos of our pampering:

“Tilly absolutely loved the pamper corner, this is right up her street! She came home and gave her whole family a wonderful hand massage!!”

Well done Tilly for being so kind to your family.

Miss Fleming enjoyed her time being pampered too:

“I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the pamper corner. The children were all so gentle when giving hand massages. It was very calming and relaxing.”

It was lovely that the children were being thoughtful towards other children and adults alike. Sounds like we may have to set the pamper corner up again.

Proud Parents

Emily’s family is delighted with her recent award:

“We are extremely proud of how well Emily is progressing in nursery and are over the moon to see she got a certificate for her manners”

Emily thoroughly deserved her award for her delightful manners. Well done Emily! Everyone is very proud of you.

Burns Week Learning

Tilly’s family has been looking at  our activities based around Burns Day:

“Tilly had a fantastic Burn’s Week in nursery, she has never stopped talking about it and tasting the ‘Spanish’ food apparently!!! She has been showing us and her nana and papa her highland dancing skills!!”

It’s great to hear that Tilly has been talking about her learning at home. Well done with the dancing Tilly!
