Happy Boys

Joe and Callum’s parents have enjoyed seeing the first pictures of their children on the blog and have kindly left us lovely comments:

“Joe is loving his time at his new nursery. His favourite toys so far is the farm set. Looking forward to more pictures and news !”

“Was so lovely to see Callum’s picture. We are so happy at how Callum has settled in.”

We are delighted to hear that Joe and Callum are enjoying Nursery. Thank you for taking the time to leave comments. We would love to hear from lots of parents and will continue to add more photos and news as the weeks progress.

Proud Parents

Thank you to Sophie’s Mum for her lovely comments both on Family Learning and our graduation:

“We have really enjoyed all the sessions with Eileen, its so nice to be involved with School life.”

“The Graduation was fantastic. All the children sang so confidently and were very brave getting up onto the stage. Such a lovely ceremony. We were very proud parents!!”

We all felt very proud of the children too. They are little stars.

Well Done!

Mollie’s Mum enjoyed our graduation and has commented on our photos:

“So proud of Mollie, she has fitted in so well at Nursery! Well done to all the children and good luck to the ones moving to P1!”

They did all do so well at graduation and we join Mollie’s Mum in wishing everyone best wishes for Primary 1 if they are leaving Nursery.

Photo Comments

Carmen’s family have been enjoying the photos of our butterfly artwork and the children visiting Primary 1:

“Carmen enjoyed colouring in her butterfly. I asked her how we could make a large, medium and small butterfly. “She replied, I could draw a medium one and an even smaller one and put them together so they are cuddling each other”.”

“I asked Carmen if she enjoyed going into P1 classroom today? She sayed she loved it and enjoyed listening to the story that Mrs Lindsay read them. She thought Mrs Lindsay was a lovely lady. She did say tho that there wasn’t many toys. Aw!! I’m sure she may pop back into nursery to have a little play.”

We love having little visits from the children when they are in Primary 1 and we’re sure that Carmen will find lots to play with once she’s settled in.

Nursery Visitor

Our little visitor from Ace playgroup enjoyed his recent visit to see his sister and her friends. His Mum said:

“Aww it looks like Ben was looked after when he visited! He felt like a big boy visiting his sisters nursery. Ben is really looking forward to starting nursery after the holidays, I’m sure he will settle in just fine. He loves to play in the sand tray most of all!”

It was lovely to have Ben and all the other boys and girls from Ace visiting us. It won’t be long before they are the big Nursery children. We are really looking forward to getting to know you all.

Moving On

Carmen’s Mum enjoyed the photo of one of the children visiting from Ace playgroup:

“Lovely photo of Ben and the big girls. Hope they looked after you Ben? The big girls will be getting very excited to go be going into p1.”

It always seems amazing when this time of year comes round and we are getting to know our new children while preparing to say our good-byes to those moving to Primary 1. It is an exciting time for all the children.

Colouring Competition

Carmen’s Mum commented on her competition success:

“Carmen would just like to say thank you for the lovely comment. She really enjoyed colouring in her yeti. She took her time and produced the best colouring in she had ever done. I was very impressed with her. It’s lovely to see your child growing in confidence in all areas.”

Well done everyone else who entered too. You all did very well.

Coin Rubbing

The Financial Education Officer who visited us recently has been visiting our blog:

“I was really impressed with the childrens coin rubbings when I visited. I hope everyone at home enjoyed looking at them! Well done to all the Nursery children! Bev :-)”

Thanks again for your visit Bev and for commenting on our blog. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Happy Day

Sophie’s family enjoyed our Fun Activity event:

“we had a lovely morning on Tuesday such a nice way to do a sports day it made it a really fun and positive experience for the Children and everyone seemed really happy. We were very proud of Sophie, she was a little shy that we were there watching but also very confident in her abilities. All the staff were great too, well done Everyone!!”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. How lovely that you felt that everyone seemed really happy.
