More of our families have been enjoying our gallery of Hecklegirth monsters.
“Kacey had fun making her monster, she said she was going to call him Robbie after Robbie Burns!” Good name choice Kacey.
“All the Hecklegirth Monsters are brilliant. Great work by everyone. I especially like Sparkle she is lovely.”
We love your monster too Orla and agree that all the monsters are super. Thanks to all those families who helped their children make the monsters at home.
Two of our families have enjoyed looking at some of the Hecklegirth monsters that were made at home.
“Callum really enjoyed making his own version of the Hecklegirth monster. We loved looking at the pictures of all the different monsters. Well done everyone.”
“Sophie had a fantastic time making this monster its the prettiest monster I have ever seen.”
It’s nice to hear that Callum and Sophie both had fun making their own monsters. We loved that there were so many different ideas of what the monster should look like.
Several parents have been enjoying our posts about Burns and learning about Scotland.
Lewis’ Mum said, “What a lovely photo!! All looking very smart in their tartan! I was so sorry that I couldn’t manage to attend the Burns Day event, but was over the moon that Lewis’ Dad recorded it for me! All the children sang beautifully and I was very proud of Lewis!”
Savannah’s Mum was pleased with the photo of her on the day of our Burns celebration: “Lovely pic xx”
We also had a comment from Summer’s Mum who said, “Summer is loving her time at Nursery and the topic just now about Scotland!”
The children certainly seemed to have responded well to learning about Scotland and they did us proud on the day of our Burns celebration.

We agree – great artwork! It certainly feels cold enough for snowmen and we know which song everyone will be singing if we do get to build one.
Finlay’s Mum’s been looking at the recent photos of our new children who started last week:
