Christmas Decorations

The children have been experimenting with different materials to make decorations for their trees and everyone had the opportunity to make their designs unique to them with the various sparkles and glitter available. Egg boxes and lollipop sticks provided the starting point and the children then showed originality and creativity to produce a wonderful selection of decorations.
They are currently on display in the school corridor, along with all those designed by other classes, so will be admired by our whole school community. Once the children take them home, we hope that they will make an appearance on your trees every year to remind you of the children’s time in Nursery. Here are some of the morning children busy at work. We will share photos from the afternoon soon.

Remember Rudolph

The last few weeks have been so busy in Nursery as we learned the songs for our Christmas celebration, made cards and decorations, decorated the tree, made chocolate shapes for the Christmas Fayre … but one of the most important jobs of all was making our reindeer food. Here are some photos of the children busy with their preparations. Don’t forget to put it out tonight boys and girls so that the reindeer can have a tasty little snack on their long journey.

Christmas Fun

Here are the promised photos that show that the party spirit was just as evident in the afternoon party as the morning one. As you can see, they joined in the dancing and games with enthusiasm and were also lucky enough to get a visit from Santa. As with the photos of the morning children, please click then click again to make the photos clearer.
