Mrs. Irving and her son have kindly recorded “Incey Wincey Spider” for us all. We hope that everyone can see the video and that you enjoy singing along with them. We are very lucky to have our own little band and hope that it helps you learn the “Rhyme of the Week”.
It’s Story Time
After recently posting a video of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” read by the author, we would now like to share a video of author David McKee reading his story of “Elmer”. We hope that you enjoy it.
Refresh our page to hear the story again.
From One Friend To Another
We are delighted to be able to pass on a message from one friend to another:
“Hi Alfie. I’m so happy to read your comment. I miss you too very much and all other friends. I hope everyone is well and safe.
Niks.”
Let’s hope that these two friends can see each other again soon.
Rhyme Of The Week
For “Rhyme of the Week” this week we suggest that you focus on “Incey Wincey Spider”. Click on the link below to remind yourselves of it and try to show your family the actions to go along with it.
You could make your own spider at home – do a drawing or use things like junk packaging or wool to create your own little (or big) spider. I wonder how many legs you will need to add to your spider?

Message From Mrs. Kirkpatrick
Mrs. Kirkpatrick has been enjoying looking at our recent photos and left a message for some of you.
For T, who showed us lots of her photos from home including a fairy garden that she had made, Mrs. Kirkpatrick said, ” I’m so pleased to see your photos, keep smiling xxx”.
She also said “Loved seeing your pics” to V who showed us some of the activities she had been doing, including flower arranging.
We found out about a new skill that Fern had learned so Mrs. Kirkpatrick wanted to say, “I’m so pleased to hear you can ride your bike Fern without stabilizers fab job Mrs k xxx”.
She also left a message for someone else showing us her skills, “Mrs Irving you were brilliant x”.
It is great to hear from you all and we would love to have more photos and messages soon so keep in touch with your news please.

We Are Missing You
Clever Counting
Mrs. Gray has left a comment for our photo sent in from home of one of our children relaxing in a ball pool:
“Gosh what a busy pool. Maybe you could do some clever counting whilst having fun in the sun.”
Good idea Mrs. Gray. That would certainly provide some tricky counting.
Bike Art Prizewinners
Mr. Palmer has a message for everyone about the Bike Art Competition.
Good afternoon everyone. Well done for all your Bike Art entries this week as part of our Big Pedal Competition. I was very impressed with all the entries. There were some really creative finished bikes using a wide variety of materials and household items. It was nice to see lots of you ride your bikes as well. It was a very difficult decision to decide a winner and runner up so I asked my children to help me. The winner for the Nursery and P1 competition is Emilia Baxter from P1. The runner up is Jasmin and her sister Freya from P1/2 and the Nursery. Well done girls. We will get your prizes to you as soon as we can. The winning entries will be shown on the School App shortly.
Congratulations from everyone in the Nursery too and well done all those who participated.
Science Is Cool
Here are some cool scientists trying out an experiment at home. This looks like great fun! Apologies to our little scientists that your video ends up on the side. We can’t seem to change this but this think that everyone will enjoy seeing your super science.
