Last term we added a section to our blog which gave the parents of children with English as an Additional Language the opportunity to work on the EALIP programme which we use in Nursery. This can be seen when you click on “Learning English” under “Support Information” on the right.
Recently one of our families asked for the books based on learning the body parts and clothes so these have now been added. These materials are helpful in supporting children in their learning, as you can use this tool at home and can hear the correct pronunciation in English.
Although initially intended for children with English as an Additional Language, this programme could be useful for any children who need a little help and encouragement to develop their language skills. We hope that these new books are helpful.
