As a celebration of World Nursery Rhyme Week, we held an “I’m a Little Teapot” snack time for our families and it was lovely to have so many parents, grandparents and younger brothers and sisters joining us. As well as a tasty pancake and fruit snack, the children enjoyed some drawing activities at the tables and everyone joined in when we sang “Five Currant Buns” and “I’m a Little Teapot” as our focus rhymes.
Thank you so much for joining us and for your feedback. It seems like this is something that everyone would like to do again so we will keep that in mind when working together with Eileen, our Family Learning Co-ordinator, to plan future activities. Thank you to all those who attended for making this a happy event for the children and thanks, as always, to Eileen for organising such a super event. Here is a gallery of our morning snack time.
