Although the winter weather caused Nursery to be closed one day last week, there was still plenty of snow in the garden to have fun with when we returned. Despite our best efforts, it was tricky to make a snowman but the children soon produced alternative ways to use this exciting resource. Snow angels and snow castles, made using buckets, were very popular as was rolling tyres and barrels through the snow to investigate what tracks they made. We made snow pies instead of mud pies and there were some super discussions about where the best snow was, how long it would stay and what would happen to it.
