There were three very pleased children at Dalbeattie Primary School when they received vouchers from the Hub’s Audrey Christie for their super entries in a competition to design a poster in connection with the construction of a new clinic in Dalbeattie. Project manager David Roan, Construction Manager from Ashleigh for the new site, who recently welcomed pupils from the school’s council to bury a time capsule in the foundations of the clinic site, invited the young people to draw a poster about site safety and the importance of being considerate constructors. Orla, Holly and Brooke won vouchers for the Dalbeattie book shop. David Roan said he was delighted to recive 50 posters and a selection will be displayed on a special notice board. The school will also be delighted to receive a new set of football strips from Ashleigh Construction in the new year.
