World Book Day

On Thursday 6th March our school was transformed into a magical world of literary characters. Dragons, princesses and Vikings rubbed shoulders with Horrid Henry, jungle animals and even Tweedledum and Tweedledee! The staff joined in as well and classes were taught by Pippi Longstocking, Fantastic Mr Fox and even a midwife! World book day is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of how exciting a good book can be and encourages children to realise that there is a wide range of authors and stories available to them. Many thanks to parents, carers, staff and children for joining in and making the day a success!
