The nursery had a visit from a farmer with ducklings and P2 were lucky to see these ducklings too. Â
Amy , who showed us her pet ducklings, told us about Open Farm Sunday, where visits to farms are available for families ( free of charge, but booking sometimes necessary)
We remembered our visit to Rosemary’s farm in term 1, and I have included the link to Open Farm Sunday in June.( Rosemary’s farm not included) in case anyone is interested in this activity.

What a lovely way to spend the weekend winning medals for Irish dancing. Well done girls!😃🎶
Following our lesson with Miss Arbuckle when we learned about materials which float, we tried to make our own ships. We learned how we needed to add pasta to steady our ships.
On Friday P5 kindly showed us the games they had learned as part of their play leaders course.
What great teachers they were. We had great fun. Thank you P5!
This game is fun and helps us learn about full stops. Choose the level to suit your learning.
We wished our families a Happy Easter by making cards.
We have been learning names of materials in preparation for our learning this term when we will investigate the properties of materials.
We never miss a chance to read.
Reading in the sun was fun!
This term we are learning about money.
These games are great fun and help us learn more about using money.
In this one select the coins you are confident using. Some of us can also use a mixture of coins:

In this game you can use your knowledge of addition to work out which items you can buy by selecting one of the 3 options at the bottom of the screen:

Buy 2 items and calculate the cost in this game:

Perhaps, you can help with the coins when shopping with a grown – up?
