Sharing a shell.

We have been learning about the symbiotic relationship that exists between some sea creatures and how this helps protect and nurture each of them. We read Sharing a Shell by Julia Donaldson and we’ve talked about the different creatures that live in a shell and how one animal’s behaviour can benefit another and protect the balance of  sea life. We have started making our own paper mache shells which we will decorate when they are dry and hard.

Busy afternoon!

Today we were very busy with our IDL through the Expressive Arts. Our student Miss Gordon helped us learn more about bacteria through music, movement and drama and there were also art stations for painting our toothpaste pictures and drawing and cutting for handwashing posters.
