We were lucky enough to be the first class to use our super new scooters. Despite the awful weather we scooted around the new track and really enjoyed getting fresh air and exercise. Some of us were a bit nervous but before long everyone was whizzing around and also remembering the important safety rules we discussed at assembly.
Before the holidays we really enjoyed sharing our Easter bonnets and baskets with the rest of the school! Well done P2!
This week we have been focusing on what estimating means and using language such as ‘almost’ ‘nearly’ and our Power Word, ‘ approximately’. We have been practising all around the school and playground,thinking and making sensible guesses about length then checking with heel to toe steps. We are discovering that there are some issues with this method ; this has led to some really interesting discussion and super thinking.
