oh Christmas tree!!!!!
We have designed and created some fantastic homemade tree decorations for our Infant Building tree. We had lots of help from Mums and Dads and enjoyed telling our friends all about how we made them before hanging them up proudly.
Ball SKills
We have been working on ball skills in the gym. We have been using our hands,feet and apparatus such as sticks and racquets.
Learning About Our Sun
We have been learning about our sky and today we were focussing on the Sun. We know that the sun is our closest star, that is why it looks much bigger than other stars! We know the sun gives us light and heat and we need this to live! Look at our sun paintings….we are going to put all of these together to create a beautiful giant sun for our learning wall. 
Amazing number work
We have been learning to make 2 digit numbers using our numicon tiles to help us see what the big number looks like. Miss Thompson was amazed and so very proud of us being able to solve these tricky problems!!!

Bookbug Picture Book Prize Ceremony
We rounded off our Bookbug work with a great celebration! Our parents and our buddies read with us and chatted about our Bookbug books. We all then voted for our favourite. Our winner of the Bookbug Picture Book Prize was The Shark in the Park on a Windy Day by Nick Sharratt!!!! It had more than double the votes of the other stories…..a clear winner!!! A huge thank you to P7 and to all of the parents and family members who took the time to come along.
Teddy Bear Hospital
We had a great time at the Teddy Bear Hospital. We learned lots about our bodies and how to keep them fit and healthy.
We can make 100
We we have been working with the 100 square numeracy map. We know that 100 is made up of 10 groups of 10!!!
Independent learners
Today we used the school changing rooms before our PE lesson. We were amazing! We can be organised and independent!
