I can’t believe that it’s the October holidays! What a super fast term! Have a look at what we’ve been up to this week.
We’ve had such a busy week again. A big thank you to all the boys and girls for all their hard work.
Our Number Talk strategies😍
Using Numicon to make 8 in lots of different ways. 
Today we measured the length of the playground using counting stick metre sticks. We worked out that from the gate to our door is 175.5 feet and 46 metres. 
Vincent wrote sums outside. 
Marianne practised writing numbers to 10. 
Olivia worked on making 25 with tally marks. What a great use of strategies. 
I hope you all have a lovely, restful October holiday. We return to school on Monday 19th October.
