What a super week! We’ve all settled in really well and have loved meeting and spending time with our new P1s.
We’ve done amazing getting used to our ‘new normal’.
Here are some of the things we’ve been up to this week:
In Numeracy we have been ordering and sequencing numbers to 10 and 20, forwards and backwards.
In Literacy we have been learning new sounds and recapping sounds we already know (P2). We have also been sequencing the story of The Gingerbread Man.
In Health we have been learning about different feelings and emotions. We’ve talked lots about different strategies we can use to help with our emotions.
In IDL (topic) we have been learning about our local community. On Friday afternoon the P2s started our local community map. We’ve made roads, coloured in cars and people in our community. Wait until you see our school!
