A Business Studies teacher will be available for any help or support you may need – you can chat/ask questions (as you would do in class) by posting comments in MS Teams or Google classrooms.

Being an independent learner is a key employability skill – here are a few tips to set you up for success:

• Keep to a daily learning routine – stick as much as possible to your daily timetabled classes to give your day some structure
• Turn on notifications on your device for Teams, Outlook and Satchel:One (SMHW)
• Look at the weekly time allocated to guide how long you should spend completing tasks
• Review/read all materials that are provided – such as PowerPoints, Class Notes, Video Clips, Websites before starting any tasks/activities
• Read instructions for tasks/activities carefully before starting
• Refer to Success Criteria’s that provide examples/show standard to achieve
• Use reliable internet websites for further research/information if required
• Check over/proofread any work before you submit/hand it in
• Ask a question in class – by posting a comment on your class channel during your timetabled class period
