Thanks very much to P6/7F, P6/7M and P2 for their memorable Easter Story services today. They really brought the story alive for us. Remember – ‘the end is the beginning’; and include Jesus with the bunnies and the chocolate on Easter Sunday!
Happy holidays, everyone!

Praise for P6 and P7
Our Seniors have been working with Nick Hesketh, the Education Department’s Writer in Residence, for the past two weeks and he has asked me to let everyone know that he genuinely feels that he has never worked with a more engaged or better behaved group of children. He has loved his time here. This has been reflected by lots of visitors to these two classes this session and is fantastic to hear. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Well done and thank you to you all – we’re really proud of you. A strong, positive P6-7 group makes such a difference to the rest of the school and these two year groups are proving to be great leaders, working so well with their teachers and other staff and pupils.
More success, more talent. more hard work.
Sporting Success
Ayner in P7 and Dylan B in P6 teamed up this afternoon to win Silver at the Dundee Primary Table Tennis Championships. Fantastic! Cortez and Brody also performed really well. Pics from the event will be on Mr Malone’s Health and Wellbeing Blog soon.
Talent + hard work = success. Well done, all. 😉
More Arts Festival Success
Well done to:
* our P3 and P5 Poetry Groups who were awarded Gold.
* our Brass Ensemble of Nicole, Bronwen and Beth, who brought back Silver.
* Jack in P6 and Sam in P2 who won Silver in the Individual Poetry.
* Morven in P6 who achieved Silver in solo Violin playing.
This takes our total to 3 Golds, 4 Silver and 1 bronze, a fabulous tally (and I’m sure our Choir would have won Gold, too had the weather not beaten us yesterday!)
Lots of talent on show, lots of hard work and lots of success. 🙂 🙂
Spring/Summer Lunch Menu
Attached the new menu for next term from Tayside Contracts. We’ll continue to offer the 4 choices each day.

Leng Medal
The annual P7 Scots Song Competition for the Leng Silver Medal will come to a conclusion with the final next Wednesday (27th March). Mrs Bromage from St Paul’s will be our judge and the P7s are practising hard.
Gold!
Well done to Josh in P7, Gold certificate winner in the Solo Singing section of the Dundee Schools Arts Festival. Well done, too, to Beth from P7 who struck Bronze, and to our Brass Ensemble of Beth, Nicole and Bronwen who achieved Silver. 🙂
The snow got the better of the School Choir this morning, unfortunately – we were unable to get the minibus out of its garage at Menzieshill and so had to pull out at the last moment. 🙁
