Happy New Year! Hope you all had a good break and are ready for the year ahead.

We have got straight back to hard work here in Primary 7 as time is of the essence before heading off to high school.

We have decided our topic is going to be on extreme weather and natural disasters followed by ecological issues facing the earth and what role we can play in helping.

In maths we have been learning about algebra which we have discovered it is not a scary or difficult as we thought it would be and is actually good fun.

We have been focusing on developing our understanding of information texts by note taking, summarising and creating questions. This generated a great deal of good quality discussions and a better understanding of why these strategies will be important in the future, especially when studying in high school.
