P1/2G 17.1.20 Time is Flying By

We continued to learn about time this week.  On Monday we went out to the clock face on the playground to make times.  It was fun being the hands on the clock.  You may have noticed on Twitter this week that we have been learning in lots of different ways.  We have also been looking at our classroom clock to tell the time too.  This is something you can do at home.  We are so busy, time does fly by in P1/2G!

You may also have read on our school Twitter page that we received a letter from Buckingham Palace this week.  We were so excited to receive such an important letter.

On Thursday, the SPCA gave a special pack about how to look after a pet.  We read a story about Pippen and Peanut the hamsters and a goodie bag full of lots of special things needed to look after them.  Some of us even got to dress up as a vet and a SPCA officer.

Ethan (Pupil Council) and Oliver (Eco Committee)  have been busy attending meetings this week.  We are very proud that you are representing our class so well.

Finally for this week, please keep practising our Scots poem “The Sair Finger”.  We will be reciting it along with the other P2 classes at our Scots Assembly next Thursday.

Have a lovely weekend.
