This week we have bee working hard at fractions. We have been focusing on finding a fraction of a whole number. We have been working with a partner to compare our approach and answers.

For our topic we have been learning more about the vikings. We have been learning how vikings wore and made a lot of jewellery and used brooches to hold their clothes in place. We created our own Viking brooches.

Last part of our topic we looked at pictures of artefacts from vikings times and had a discussion about what they items could be and what vikings might have used them for.

We have been learning about Viking longships. We created our own Viking longships which we really enjoyed making. 

We we have started learning about fractions in Maths. We have been using concrete material to find a fraction of a number.
