All children who have their 5th birthday before 28 February 2025 are of statutory school age and may start education in August 2024. The deadline for enrolment of pupils into Primary 1 for the 2024/25 session is 29 JANUARY 2024.

This year, we are asking parents and carers to provisionally enrol their children at their catchment schools using an online form. The full enrolment process will be completed at a later date.

We were really happy to see all our pupils back in school earlier this month and to welcome our new Primary 1 pupils to Team Fishcross.

All children who have their 5th birthday before 28 February 2023 are of statutory school age and may start education in August 2022. The deadline for enrolment of pupils into Primary 1 for the 2022/23 session is 28 January 2022.

Due to on-going COVID-19 restrictions, enrolment procedures will look different this year. Initially, we ask that you complete this provisional enrolment form.

Families must, at a later date, complete the full enrolment process and provide proof of address and your child’s birth certificate. Please be aware that enrolment remains provisional until all supporting evidence has been seen.

Previously, enrolment has been an opportunity for face to face meetings between ourselves and families, which is not possible at this current time. However, we will be in touch to share our plans for transition activities.

We were delighted to finish in the Top 10 schools across the whole of Scotland during the Festive Walk of Fame week in December 2021. Pupils record how they travel to school each day using the Travel Tracker. We encourage Active Travel to and from school, and have bike racks available for those who would like to cycle or scoot to school.

Our friends at Park Primary have made this wonderful short video explaining how to get started with Google Classroom. Pupils will be given their login details for a variety of online learning sites today where possible and all the login details have been posted into each child’s Class Dojo portfolio.
