As part of our school improvement priorities to encourage and support reading, pupils talked about books that they were enjoying. Leah shared ‘Kid Normal, Megan shared ‘Captain Underpants and the attack of the talking toilet!’ and Layton shared ‘Ratburger’.
All classes will have a chance to share their favourite stories over the coming weeks at assembly.
Everyone sang ‘Together’.

The Eco Warriors spent their time this week planting trees on part of the playing field that they have designated as the new Wildlife Area.

 Primary 1W told everyone about our new mud kitchen that is part of our loose parts play. They are very excited to have it in our school grounds but worried that it might be damaged overnight or during weekends and holidays. They asked everyone to take care of it.
It was great to see so many children and staff taking part in our efforts to raise money for Children In Need by wearing onesies or pyjamas.
