boys and girls

Eco Warriors

Trees by hrumThe Eco Warriors spent their time this week planting trees on part of the playing field that they have designated as the new Wildlife Area.
They would really appreciate that anyone playing in/around that area respect the trees and all the hard work they put into planting them. It will be sectioned off, in due course, but meantime we hope that the trees can thrive where they are.

Snapshot Jotters

From 6 to 10 November all children’s learning was recorded in their Snapshot Jotter.

These were sent home with children on Friday 17 November.

We’d be grateful if you could spend a few minutes looking through this with your child and discussing their learning.

There is an evaluation on the final page for the week where you can read your child’s comments and add your own thoughts too.

Snapshot jotters should be returned to school by 27 November so that they can be used again in May 2018.

We hope that you find this useful prior to parents’ evenings.

Outdoor Learning

As part of our school improvement plan we are committed to trying to make sure all learners from across stages receive quality outdoor learning.

Outdoor learning can take place in our surrounding countryside, our local community or simply by taking learning out into our playground, and can support other curricular areas such as Numeracy, Literacy and Health and Wellbeing.

We are trying to create a bank of parents, carers and family memberswho would be willing to support outdoor lessons.

If you would like to support our children by taking part in outdoor learning sessions please contact Mr Patterson via school office or Class Dojo.
