Health and Wellbeing

Our HWB focus this month is Mental Well-being March.

We created a feelings web where we passed the string to someone who was feeling/ has felt that emotion before too.

We realised that even though we are all different we can sometimes feel the same

Literacy

We had lots of fun during our reading rotations this afternoon.

We described the underwater animals using adjectives, created underwater animals in construction, looked for our sounds in the the library and recreated the story in our tuff tray. 🌟🐳

Our Maths Focus this Week

Lots of maths learning through play today. This terms maths focus is weight and volume. We are also continuing with counting in multiples and partitioning numbers.

Very proud of how well they have settled back in.. 🌟

Literacy

Lots of learning today about our focus book The Snail and the Whale. We used adjectives to describe our whale.

We also enjoyed reading in the library and spotted lots of underwater animals. 🐳🌟

Cook Along

P2/3 took part in a cook along today with Miss Adam. and created a main course of pizza (from scratch!) Great job everyone!

Differences December

Our HWB focus at the moment is Differences December.

So far we have discussed how we are similar and different from our friends in class.

Today we were learning about how all families are different.

The boys and girls drew pictures of their family and labelled who each person is. 🌟

Christmas Jumper Day

We have had a super Christmas Jumper Day! 🎅🏼

We completed dot to dots for numeracy and continued to look at our book ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’. We made sleighs in construction, characters from the story using play dough and also designed Christmas jumpers.

We are also enjoying watching the pantomime!!
