06e125aOn Thursday, Heather from the NSPCC came to talk to us about the importance of speaking out if things are making us feel sad or worried.

We talked about different things that might make children or young people feel worried or scared and discussed different types of abuse such as: neglect, bullying, physical, emotional and sexual abuse.download

We also met Buddy the speech bubble (that’s the mascot), he represents   the right to speak out and be listened to. We watched some different videos about kids who had called Childline. The number is 0800 1111 and the best thing is it’s free to call. It’s fine if it’s a little problem because there’s no problem
too small or too big, they will always listen.
