JJ’s 100 word challenge
One day i was on my way to uint 23 but on the way we saw a bigger better skate park.so we went in and bought a lifetime hall pass so we don’t need to pay.when i went in it had loop to loop ramps quater pipes half pipes. it was epic! i went to the loop to loop and i did it. then i went to the foam pit and did a back flip into it that was epic too. the entire parck was epic we would go again.we went to the cafe up stairs i got a kit kat.
Erin’s 100 word challenge
One day my family took me to a hill and on top we had a picnic.When we had finishend we walked back down and i saw something that looked like the “got to dance stidio” and it was. I ran down to see if i couldbaudition. When i went in i saw Ashley Banjo i weny to talk to him and i said “Hi Ashley Banjo my name is Erin could i audition?” he said” ok you can be up next” “but what can i do wait hold that thought i will do my breake dance and i got through to the finles.
Term 4 in primary 5/19
This term we are finding out about William Wallace and Robert the Bruce and life in Medieval Scotland. We have PE on Tuesday (hall) and Wednesday ( outdoor) and Football with Marshall on Thursday. Children taking part in Bikeability training will need their bikes and helmets and appropriate clothing on Friday morning. Homework will consist of maths consolidation work, and topic- related tasks. Children will be allowed to choose whether spelling activities are completed at home as we are continuing with the Active Literacy daily spelling programme in class until the end of term. Reading homework will recommence around the middle of term 4 as we are introducing the Active Literacy reading programme which will take approximately 6 weeks. ( We are studying a whole class novel and learning how to carry out a variety of comprehension activities.)We are taking part in an ipad music project this term, which the children are really excited about! Music teacher Mr Watt will visit each Thursday to work with both primary 5 classes on composing and creating music. Check out the photos of our ipad musicians below!

World Maths Day 2013
Congratulations to Primary 5/19 pupils who took part in the games this year. Certificates will be awarded on Monday….. 4 pupils received a Distinction award…..I wonder who it could be? Well done everyone!
