Today you are going to be learning about some of the features of a biography before planning and writing your own.
I have suggested that you base your biography on an artist but, as our theme this fortnight is Expressive Arts, please feel free to choose an artist, sculptor, architect, musician, dancer or actor as your subject.
The Sway below contains all the information required for you to create your biography.
Don’t forget to set your work out neatly, taking a new paragraph every time there is a change of subject. Please share your completed biography with your teacher, and don’t forget to come back on the Blog to let me know how you got on. 😊
Good morning everyone!
Let’s take a virtual tour of Aberdeen Art Gallery – https://bit.ly/2AR37X5
With a duration of 2h30 minutes, we highly recommend that you view the tour throughout the week. If you prefer, focus on a specific gallery (Sculpture Court, Collecting Art etc).
Throughout week 1, we are going to focus on identifying our favourite piece of art within the gallery, sharing our thoughts/opinions and researching the artist.
Click on the Sway below to see everything you will need to complete this activity. An example has also been provided. Good luck and remember to share your work with your class teacher.
I hope that you have enjoyed your second week of Health fortnight. Hopefully, you have all been reading for enjoyment, just like me!
I have been reading ‘The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse’ by Charlie Mackesy.
What have you been reading? Let us know in the comments!

Good morning everyone
If your child has a Sumdog account, they will be able to play with Mr Reid and Miss Deans between 12pm – 1pm today.
Mr Reid will be playing – High Rise
Miss Deans will be playing – Pier Walk
Each game will start on a 5 minute interval, meaning that the first game will start at 12pm, then 12.05pm, 12.10pm etc.
When selecting ‘Who do you want to play against?’ – Select ‘Class’.
We have added every teacher to each class, so we should all be able to play together!
We look forward to playing Sumdog with you all.
