Good morning everyone!
I hope that you all had a lovely weekend with your families.
Here is a question to get you reflecting on your first week of Home Learning:
- What has been the most challenging part of your Home Learning journey so far?
For me, it has been getting to grips with the new school blog. It has been challenging to keep up to date with comments and creating new posts to go up throughout the week. As the first week progressed, I became more comfortable with this new way of learning.
In my downtime, I have continued to practise the piano. Click on the Sway to see my progress over the last week! Do you know what song I am playing? If you’re not sure, ask someone in your family!
hi mr reid
well done on the piano. I am getting used to the blogs. Have you seen my sway?
Good morning, Alexander. I hope that you had a great weekend! Thank you for your comments on my piano playing, that is very kind of you. I have looked at your Sway and I am so impressed with all of the work that you have done in the first week of Home Learning. You have certainly been extremely busy. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Mr.Reid.
Are you enjoying the home learning? Im kind of enjoying it. I do miss working at school but i do not miss having homework.
It is very different and I am definitely missing everyone at school.
i am too.
i miss my friends and i miss being in class π
The first one was twinkle twinkle little star and the second one was here comes the sun by the Beatles. It sounds sweet.
Good morning, Harry. It is great to hear from you! I must say that I am very impressed with your answers, well done! I didn’t know that you were a fan of the Beatles.
I figured that out as soon as i heard it.
I remembered that you play that on your phone sometimes in class have you seen my sway.
You have a fantastic memory Harry. Yes I have viewed your Sway and it is great to see you using Digipuzzle to improve your Numeracy skills. Keep up the great work!
Mrs Lusher to Mr Reid
I need some lessons in how to use this system as I was hoping to put some simple challenges and quizzes on here.
Hello Mrs Lusher, it is lovely to hear from you! You will need access to the blog to be able to upload posts. Could it be possible to email one of the teaching staff your challenges/quizzes?
That sounds like a good idea. I’ll give it a try. I hope your pupils have been giving Joe Wicks a try. I think that maybe later they could try setting up a simple fitness routine. What do you think?
I think that sounds like a great idea!
Mr Reid- What a lovely tune to hear this morning. You are really coming on heaps ! You are inspiring me to dig out a clarinet I bought a while ago to try learn to play but have never had time to start. Maybe now is the time ?
Well done- you’ve obviosuly practiced a lot and not given up. Can’t wait to hear your next tune π
Thank you for your feedback, Mrs Fraser. Using the blog to update everyone on my progress helps to keep me motivated! I have already started on my next piece of music and I know that many children in my class will love it! It is the main theme song to my favourite movie franchise.
I bet it is star wars.
Correct!
yesss i knew it π
