I’m sure we all had a great time fundraising for children in need. We are still waiting for a total and I’m sure it will be a super amount!

Last Friday primary 3 took part in Children in need dressing up in stripes and doing different activites. They also took part in the sponsored spell and everbody did really well. Don’t they look fab?

Children In Need!!!!
On Friday the 18/11/11 was children in need and markethill pupils and staff had to come to school dressed in stripes. Here is pictures of Miss Philp Smith’s class and Mrs McLean’s class in their stripes!

These are P6 and P5/6 in their stripy themed costumes to raise money for children in need. The classes also took part in a sponsored spell and a pudsey drive.

Open Morning at the School
Tomorow there is a open morning at the school where your parents can come in and have a nossy at what you have been up to in your classes. Remind your parents to come as it is nice for them to see what you have been doing!

For Children in Need we all dressed up in strips which was really fun. We did lots of fun things including a sponsored spell but the primary one’s did a sponsored sound which they raised a lot of money but we don’t actually know how much they raised!!!!!

Well done Matthew!!!
Matthew is a P7 pupil, but in p6 Mrs Matthews class we entered a garden design for the Royal Infirmary in aberdeen. A very long time after that our class got told that Matthew had won. We were all very pleased but Matthew was embarrassed. Today (17 November) at assembly a Royal Infirmary man awarded Matthew with a certificate and supplied the school with a huge trolley of cooking equipment.
Look out for Matthew in the P&J and The Turriff Advertiser!
