The winners for the writing copetition were:3rd prize went to Alisha Wilkie, 2nd prize went to Georgia Shand and 1st prize went to Sophie Grieg. Well done to everyone who took part it was a very hard decision.
Term 2 for P7/21
A new term for P7/21 has started. P7/21s new topic is electricity. They are learning different things about electricity. They also learnt about safety about electricity. This term p7/21 have been learning about RME.
halloween in P.3/2
They did a skelenton drive, Halloween games, salt dough pumpkins and paited them & a witch phoned them!!! 🙂
switch off fortnight
Switch off fortnight is coming closer in about 2 or 3 weeks time the school will participate in Switch off Fortnight
P6-7/5
this term p6/7s topic is V.I.B (very important bear). They are going to be making films in groups. In maths they have been drawing circles different ways. They have also been doing dancing for christmas.

Mrs Davidson – p2
Primary 2 have dressed up for halloween yesterday and this term there topic is night and day. They are reading The Owel how was Afraid of the Dark and they also want to find out about the moon.
P4
This term P4 have been continuing there Africa topic and will be until the christmas. Later in the term P4 will get the chance to make african huts. In health they will be learning about how to look after a baby. In maths they are learning how to tell the time. Also the P4s have been doing some social dancing for their christmas party.
Primary 5’s having an author visit
Primary 5’s will be having an author visit from Caroline Claugh on the 14th of November 2012. Also they will be getting a visit from Matthew Todd on the 2nd of November. Here are a couple of pictures from their halloween dance.
Writing competition
We are changing the entry date for the adventure story competition. We will now be collecting your entries on Thursday the 1st of November. Just hand them in to your teacher on that day or earlier if you think you are finished. We will collect them all in after school on Thursday. Hope there are lots of entries. Good Luck.
