RND 2013 at Markethill School
The choir
The chior are learning some songs for the church on Wed 20th of March like rock around the clock,mamma mia and more.
Easter egg decoration competition
The blog members have decided to do an Easter egg competition. You will have to decorate an Easter egg and hand it in by the 21st of March before lunch time. If you want to enter ask your teacher for a template or ask a blog member. Please hand it in to the p7/21 or the p6/7/5 blog members. You are allowed to use anything you like to decorate the Easter egg.
P4’s Smoothies
P4s are selling their smoothies yet again but this time they are selling them to the P1s and the P6s. The P4’s smoothies are banana and strawberry flavoured and raspberry and watermelon flavoured. They cost £1 per smoothie.
Netball
On Tuesday 12th of March the netball team played against some of the teachers. The score at the end was teachers 20 and pupils 8. I thought it was really hard because the teachers were all taller than us. One of the teachers got hurt and had to stop playing, luckily she has recovered and is fine now but still limping a bit.
The Talent Show
At the talent show people are entrying to sing and do tricks or tell a funny joke. The judges are Miss Bremer and Mr Irvine has to vote for the best singer, best at tricks and the best funny joker.
Red nose day countdown
Its only one more day before markethill school starts Red nose day! Remember it is a £1 donation and you can dress in red or something funny for money. Try and also take a red nose with you so it is a better red nose day. I hope you are all excited for red nose day because i am!
