Writing competition

We are changing the entry date for the adventure story competition. We will now be collecting your entries on Thursday the 1st of November. Just hand them in to your teacher on that day or earlier if you think you are finished. We will collect them all in after school on Thursday. Hope there are lots of entries. Good Luck.

Banff Sheriff Court

P6/17 and P6/18 went to Banff Sheriff Court on Tuseday the fourth of October

Inside they got a tour around the Court which must have been very excting.  They got to view lots of areas of the Court that not many people get to see.   After lunch they did the trial of Goldilocks. Which Goldilocks at the end of the trial Goldilock was given a five year sentence by the jury. Enjoyprison Goldilocks.

Mr Irvine and Miss Bremner

Mr Irvine’s class have been working very hard on their topic India they have being doing things like trasport in India and comparing India to the Uk.They have being doing lots of subjects like maths, language, writing and one main thing there enterprise. They have being doing humty dupty mobiles,sweety challenge, find the treasure and writing about how they work in groups.Miss Bremmner’s class have been doing lots of hard work as well. They have been doing Victorian toys and they have being doing protractor work and symmetry work. They have being doing victorian ink writing with quill pens.

Primary 5s topic this term is pollution and conservation. P5s make up 100% of the eco-commitee, 50% from each class. They have also been doing lots of wonderful maths. Mrs Macleans p5s have been writing poems as part of National Poetry day.

PSU

The PSU have been imaginative with their story writing. They have been learning Roald Dahls books, they have read books like Fantastic Mr Fox. They went to see the Roald Dahl writing hut. Also they have done the Roald Dahl challenge. In maths the PSU have been practising their tables. They went out side and replanted the strawberry plants. Everyone in the PSU have done tattie homework.
