Primary five help save lives

Primary 5 have raised an amazing amount of money through their Eco committee. They gave £95 so that a village could get clean, safe water. They all set up an eco friendly stall to make enough money to help the poor. Not all of it was spent towards the African people. They sent the money to Oxfam and then Oxfam sent the money to a village in Africa. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much.

Mrs Booth’s new job

In assembly today Mrs Booth made an announcement that this would be changing jobs. She also said that that would be the last time we would see her. Her new job is called Asset Manager for Primary Schools in Aberdeenshire. This meant that she would be working on new schools and help them design them. She will be helping to design the new Markethill school.

Hope to see you again, Mrs Booth! Have fun!

Young Explorers

Primary 2 have been traveling the world, looking at the different places and animals. Their new topic this term is Young Explorers. They have had lots of fun and really enjoyed their selfs. They also have a new class mate called Barney the bear. He has been around the world and is now in the amazing place called Turriff. They have been sending him messages to him telling him where they have been. Some of the pictures were just like the real thing. One of them had drawn a picture of her and her family walking up the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. I thing everyone now wishes they are still in primary 2.
