This week primary 5 have been busy selling there fair trade odjects. They have raised lots of money and hope to raise more tomorrow. The money goes to a good cause.

Each year, the P7s of different schools take part in the Rotary Quiz! The quiz consists of different categories and are often mind-boggling questions. The teams are made of 4 people and we have 2 teams from Markethill ! The first team is : Natalie, Harry, Marissa, Lauren and the reserve is Ruth. The second team is Kirsty B, Scott,Ben,Aiden and the reserve is Jack. The Quiz is going to be held on the 14th of March. Good luck guys, we all hope you do us proud!

P5 went on an exciting trip to the spring show.They saw a wide variety of animals such as Horses,pigs,cows,sheep and a lot of stylish tractors and farm vehicles.Here are some pictures. Find lots more on the class blog here.

Mrs Dyrlagas class has been very,very busy learning about space and creating some marvellous pictures and doing some exciting experiments! Here are some of the pictures of their activities.

The P4’s have been doing some really exciting stuff. Miss Bulloch’s class have been performing their amazing play to the whole school and I certainly wouldn’t have all that confidence to stand up there and say all of those lines that they had to learn. I really enjoyed the play and I am definite that the rest of the school did to.

Mrs Rankin’s class have also been measuring the titanic that they have made on there class wall and they will be telling us the size of it next week.

On thinking day, the 22nd of February, some people came to school in there guiding uniform to celebrate the birthday of Baden Powell and his wife.

Classes around the school have been dressing up as their favourite book characters and also doing other activities like making bookmarks and reading lots of their favourite books. Here are a few pictures of what they’ve been up to!
