This week children have been busy taking part in environmentally friendly activities as part of Eco Week. Primary 1/2 have been making their own recycled paper. It looked like lots of fun. (And very messy!) Primary 5/6/17 and 6/18 are having a Swap Shop on the last day of term, bringing in toys, books and games to exchange with one another. Primary 5 have been spreading the Eco message by helping every child in the school plant a seed. They wanted to show how easy it is to grow your own plants, and how it can cost very little to get started. They have worked hard to limit the amount of litter in the school grounds this term, and presented a short play to the rest of the school to encourage everyone to use the bins. Their super-hero, Captain Litter, will be out in the playground to keep an eye on things! Here are a few photos from our very busy week.

P6 news! :-)
On Monday the 19th of March, the p6’s performed their Opera! This year the opera was caled ‘The Big Bang Show’ and was all about how the world was formed. Although our class sadly didn’t get to see it, from what we’ve heard, they have all been working really really hard singing their hearts out and learning their lines and parts. All their hard work paid off on the day and it went according to plan and was a great crowd-pleaser!
Well done everyone you did such a great job! 🙂 Click here to find out more.
