At last, the day arrived for Primary 2/8 to dig up their plants and see what had grown in their bags.A bumper crop of tatties was produced, which were then cooked by the school cook and served up to children and staff. I felt very privileged to be invited through to the tasting. They were delicious! Here are a couple of photos.

After the teachers played football they moved on to play netball. P7s took on the staff, the score was 11-3 to the staff.

The sun shone today for our Primary 1-3 Sports. Lots of parents and carers turned out to watch the children take part in sprints,skipping, tattie and spoon and the sack race. Everyone had a great time! A big thank you to Mrs Cruickshank for organising the event.
Primary 7’s at Markethill only have 8 and a half weeks until they go to the academy! What is everyone going to miss? Are you going to miss the cheesy pizza, or your teacher? Maybe your going to miss playtimes with Mrs Craib and the other staff? Leave a comment and let us know what you think!
On the 9th of June P6-7/19 went to Banff Beach and Fyvie Castle. They went to the Beach first to see what we could find in the rockpools. Alot of people found crabs one person even found a crab coming out of its shell. Then we went to Fyvie Castle to look in the woods. We went into a wooden hut to look out over the pond to look at the ducks and there was little baby ducks.
On Wednesday it was primary 4 to Primary 7 sports day. There were lots of different races such as: sprint, shuttle realy, sack race and the three legged race. For with the girl that had the most medals and rewards was agata and for with the boy it was keir.
