During the Scottish week P6-7/19 Miss Bremner’s class was doing an art competition. They had to draw a picture that had something to do with a Robbie Burns poem. The results were in 3rd place was Amy D she drew a picture from “To a Daisy”, 2nd place was Connor B he drew a picture from “To a mouse” and in 1st place was Ben M and he drew a rose from “My love is like a red, red rose.” They all got certificates.

In P7/20 Mrs Gardiner’s they were practicing their Scottish poem for the competition.

P7/21 Mr Irvine’s were eating their haggis. Some people liked it and some people didn’t Kelsey S really didn’t want it but in the end she tried but didn’t like it. Some people liked it so much they had seconds.

During Scottish Week the Primary 3’s were performing some Highland Dancing to others!

This is P2-3/8 tasting Haggis, Oatcakes and Shortbread!

During Scottish Week some classes were eating and trying Haggis, Shortbread and Oatcakes!  Yummy yummy!

On the 25th of January all of the Primary 1’s were being taught how to do Highland Dancing from Miss Lima. Primary 2 designed their own tartan on the computers.

On the 25th of January all classes had a Burns supper and recited poems. Some primary 7’s recited poems for the Lorna Barron Memorial poetry Competition, the winner was Megan from Mrs Gardiners class.
