Pantomime Time in Primary One

The Pantomime came to visit this week.  Primary One enjoyed being part of an audience for the performance of Aladdin. It was an energetic and exciting performance to watch, we joined in enthusiastically with the songs we knew!  We talked about our favourite characters and favourite parts of the story afterwards in our classrooms.

We completed some black pen drawings of the performance and shared them with the class.  Take a look! Can you spot Aladdin, Widow Twanky or The Genie of the lamp?  Can you tell your family about the story of Aladdin?

P3F At the Pantomime

We were a good listening audience at the Pantomime. Our favourite parts were when we sang Baby Shark and the dancing. We thought the acting was good and the show was funny.

P3F Finding out about Germs

We sang the wash your hands song. We wrote out instructions on ‘How to wash our hands’ and investigated microbes. We also found out how germs are spread and how to stop them spreading. We checked for germs under a special light to see if we had washed our hands properly.

Thank you Mrs Richmond

Primary 4 Roman Afternoon

On Monday P4H had a Roman afternoon. Pupils dressed up in togas, armour and even as royalty!

We sampled some food from ancient Roman times. We found out they would eat vegetables that they grew themselves, so we tasted some cucumber, carrots and celery. We also got to try some bread which Romans made from cereals.

We then created some Roman freeze frames in partners. We froze in a position and our partner had to fit themselves into the scene.

We had a fantastic afternoon!
