Once we have learned about our stars lighting up we then moved on to making something with a BEEP BEEP noise.
We created tugboats that beeped and buzzed zzzzzzzz
We had to make sure we put the black and red wires into the right places. sometimes it took more than one try to do and thats OK!
We are LEARNING
We used our knowledge of circuits, insulators and conductors to make our stars light up.
We had to make sure our battery pack worked and our led lights and that we gently fixed these in to the dough in order for it to work.
Some of us got it first time others it took a while to perfect.
We even found it tricky to draw and make the stars before we could do any circuit work!

Last week during home learning and in school, we increased our knowledge and understanding of static electricity.
We watched a video to learn all about Static Electricity, we know now what static electricity is, we can give examples of static and have found some fun and interesting facts.

For home learning we were asked to make a mind map about electricity I chose windmills they are very interesting and I have some nearby. Did you no that a wind turbine turns wind energy using the force from the rotor blade. that’s my learning so far.
