Being Body Smart is all about movement and 3D thinking. We use our body smarts in sports, dancing and acting.
Some of us move our bodies to think, having our best ideas when we’re on the go. Being Body Smart also incorporates building 3D models with blocks, Lego or junk modelling.
Lego model making
Using Lego is a great Body Smart activity that almost everyone enjoys doing. Below are some pictures of the set of the Christmas show built from Lego.
Dancing
Here the students are doing some dancing in class for PE. (The hall is so full of Christmas show stuff that there’s no room to swing a cat!)
Football
If you’ve read the post on Nature Smarts then you have seen this picture already. Here are some of the football heroes from the P4-7 class, fresh from using their Body Smarts to win the Ythan B-League and cup at the end of term 1. (Once again, shout out to the amazing parent helpers who made this possible!)
Gymnastics
I asked if anyone wanted to demonstrate their gymnastic prowess. Here are the Body Smart pictures we got of the moves!
