Children in Need
A big thank you to everyone who sent in a donation for Children in Need on Thursday. P5-7 did a great job organising games and activities and judging the competitions. We had jokes, dancing, drawing and designing, a quiz and some fantastic outfits! We raised £45 this year, a fantastic amount for a wee school!
P4/5/6/7 Sharing our opinion
On Wednesday we had visitors to our class from Marr Area Partnership and Action for a Fairer World. The reason for their visit was to ask for children’s views and opinions on Braemar, which will be shared with the Community Council and contribute towards the Community Action Plan.

PC Cain visit to Room 2
Today we had a visit from our local police officer PC Cain. In the playground she showed us her police car, the important things she carries in the boot such as a broom and traffic cones and she also put the siren on. It was very loud! After that we went to the hall and tried on some pieces of police uniform. We had so much fun trying on coats, hats, vest and learned about why she carries handcuffs, radio and a baton. This visit concludes our IDL topic: People who help us. Thank you PC Cain!
A visit from the police
PC Alex came to school today. She showed us the police car and everything which is kept inside. She also showed us how the lights and siren work! Soon, she is going to come back and talk to our class about how to stay safe when we are out and about.
