Fabulous Fish

Here are some lovely pastel pictures of fish, created by Primary 2.

Bring a Bear!

Children from the nursery raised a wonderful £100 for Children in Need by holding a “Bring a bear, Show you care” day on November 18th.

Nursery pupils from both the morning and afternoon nursery classes brought their favourite teddy to the nursery with them. They also enjoyed face painting and cake decorating. Well done !

Shoe Boxes

A grand total of 120 shoeboxes have been donated by children and parents to Gordon Primary’s Shoebox appeal. The boxes, filled with small gifts such as hats, gloves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, notebooks and pencils will be given to children in orphanages in East European countries by the New Hope Trust.

The appeal was organised by Mrs Fisher and the Scripture Union. The Scripture Union were involved in checking and counting the shoeboxes, which will be picked up shortly by the New Hope Trust and driven to Romania and other Eastern European countries.

Many thanks to everyone involved!
