Welcome to our school. Southmuir Primary School is situated to the south-west of Kirriemuir (map) and is the Primary School section of Webster’s High School (WHS) and Kirriemuir Leisure Centre. The School serves an area to the south of The Gairie Burn. We are currently an acting Campus with the same Head Teacher, Jane Esson, overseeing both schools and the possible transition into a whole campus school.
The School, which moved to its current location in 2001, is built on a single level, has twelve classrooms, activity areas, a gymnasium and pre-school provision; children enjoy Webster’s High School dining facilities.
The semi-open-plan design, built with accessibility in mind, provides a bright and spacious environment for all to work and play.
Externally the children enjoy a large playground and grassed area
