Learning Journey Information will be updated here  3 times per year to notify parents of activities taking place across the curriculum. There are suggested activities on the Learning Journey Information page regarding how you can support your child with their learning throughout all areas of the curriculum

Reading

Reading will not be issued on the first/ last week of every term and any short weeks

P1,2 and 3

– New reading book sent home on a Tuesday and returned the following Monday (P1 children will not receive books until they have completed their phonic learning)
– Books are pre-read with teacher before being sent home

P4-7
– Reading and accompanied activities will be sent home. This may include:
Literature Circles – Read a portion of a book and fill in a journal that will be used for discussion.

Maths
P1- 7
– As needed to support learners. Teachers will contact parents to inform them if maths homework is required to support a maths concept that a child requires further practice with.
