Mark Millar is a Scottish comic book writer, known for his work on Kick-Ass, The Authority, The Ultimates, Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Civil War, The Secret Service, etc. Comic panels and frames from other Millar titles, Jupiter’s Circle and Jupiter’s Legacy, featured in the Frank Quitely exhibition I posted about a few weeks ago. Glasgow-born Quitely being yet another highly talented and successful Scot working in the comic industry.
Dave Gibbons is an English comic book artist, writer and sometimes letterer. He is best known for his collaborations with Godfather of British comics, Alan Moore, on titles like, Watchmen.
