The Book of the Month for May is The Fearful by Keith Gray. It is set in a fictional town called Moutonby. The town is shrouded by a legend of a lake monster that killed a school teacher and five pupils in 1699. The town is divided by those who believe the legend and those who dismiss it; however, if it’s true then the legend states that Tim Milmullen (a descendant of the school teacher) is the only person who can stop the beast killing again!

The book is full of suspense and mystery, very loosely based on the story of Nessie, and is an enchanted and captivating read.
