Thank you to all the visitors who came to visit our Museum of Scotland @ Walker Road. We loved your positive comments about the hard work of our staff and pupils and how much you all learned from the pupils. It was a great day and there was a real buzz around the school. The pupils and staff loved sharing their learning and we also got the big thumbs up from the Torry Heritage Society and the Community Council. We truly are Wonderful Walker Road!
Remember the pupils are sharing their learning on Wednesday 25th March in Social Studies through our Museum of Scotland @ Walker Road. Classrooms will be open from 2pm-3pm and 6pm-7pm.
THE FUTURE WALL
Please also take some time to leave your thoughts about what we should focus on as a school over the next few years and the skills you would like us to develop with your children on Our Futures Wall (P3-7 end of the main corridor).
We really look forward to sharing our wonderful learning with you all. See you there!
Thank you to all who attended or helped at the Valentine’s Discos. They were a great success and we hope your child enjoyed them. We are now looking for feedback using our Survey Monkey link. Please click on the link below. Thank you! The PTA Committee.
As a school community we are looking at the safety around our school in relation to cars. The Parent Council along with some pupils from the school will be launching this project very soon. The aim of this is to reduce the number of cars around our school, and especially in the school car park, which is becoming too busy with all the cars at the start and end of the school day. Please park and stride and help keep your child safe!Be a Walker Road Walker!
We are delighted to announce that after a lot of hard work and campaigning, our ECO committee has won the coveted Green Flag Award! It is currently hanging in our hallway but we hope to organise a flagpole for it soon.
