We went to the gym to take part in a potted sports activity.
We threw, we jumped, we balanced, we crawled, we dribbled, we hopped!
We had great fun and raised some money for the Sport Relief Charity!
Well done to everyone!
This time our challenge was to find out which shape of column was the strongest from a square-based column, a triangular- based column or a cylindrical column.
We quickly found that we could balance the most books on the cylindrical column.
The children were then given a further challenge to double the number of books that they could balance. I was so proud of them as each group managed to double their original load.
Two groups excelled themselves by building structures that could balance over 45 books!!!
