Primary 5 have started to learn about The Highland Clearances. We worked together to make a timeline of events that happened before, during and after the clearances.

Primary 5 visited Summerhill Home yesterday. We chatted with the residents and completed jigsaws with them. We had great fun!

This week Primary 5 have been exploring the word courage. We had a Circle Time discussion and then created a drama about courage!

This week Primary 5 had some special visitors. We learned about Chinese New Year! We got to listen to music and try some calligraphy!

We have been learning about the famous Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We discussed his work and then created our own version of the famous rose!
